South Africa – Africa Diaspora Investment Summit is set to occur from August 28 – 30 2024, at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. Themed ‘Unlocking Diaspora Wealth: Bridging Continents for Shared Prosperity,’ this collaborative initiative involves CyberAlliance, the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa, and the Africa Global Chamber of Commerce, alongside various public and private sector partners from the US and South Africa. This innovative event aims to spur investment in South Africa.

The summit is intricately structured to offer comprehensive insights into Southern Africa’s startup ecosystem, fostering a sense of belonging and ease among African Diasporans and Africa’s allies. The objective is to pave the way for them to combine financial resources and invest alongside Southern African companies and asset managers.

Beyond our dedication to promoting local and continental African growth and expansion into the US, our joint efforts seek to address the challenge of the “Missing Middle.” We acknowledge the crucial role Southern African asset managers play in bridging the funding gap for businesses at various stages of development, from inception to high-growth phases. Through collaboration, we aim to establish a robust ecosystem that cultivates entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic advancement across Southern Africa and beyond.
